Badkhal Lake

Located at the Badkhal village, approximately 8 km away from the border of New Delhi, Badhkal Lake is an artificial lake surrounded by the hills of Aravali mountain range. With several eateries set up at the lake shore, the Badkhal Lake is famous for the boating options, water sports and also bird watching with varied species of birds flocking in their respective groups. The flower show during spring season is yet another major reason for the high inflow of locals and tourists towards the lake.

Suraj Kund

Known for its historical value, this place is yet another attraction in the city. The name “Suraj Kund” depicting the 'Rising Sun', this place is an ideal picnic spot in the city. Suraj Kund is an artificial Kund meaning reservoir which is built in the back drop of the famous Aravali Mountain range constructed in a semicircular form with an amphitheater shaped embankment. It’s a village in the Faridabad District lying in between Baharpur and Lakkharpur Village at an approximate distance of 8 km from the city.

Raja Nahar Singh Palace

Built around the year 1739 AD, Nahar Singh Palace is one of the most appealing tourist destinations throughout the year due to its incredible architectural design. The palace is based out of the Ballabgarh Town which is at a distance of approximately 15 km from New Delhi. This palace is also referred as the Ballabgarh Fort which was named after the then ruler Nahar Singh.
